What is Dramaha?

Dramaha combines Five-Card Draw and Omaha in one hand. You receive five private cards and, after flop betting, may discard up to two and draw replacements, or stand pat.

At showdown half of each pot goes to the best five-card high hand made from your hole cards only, and half to the best Omaha hand using exactly two hole cards and three board cards.

SophiesPick plays Dramaha Pot-Limit with a single two-card draw, for 2-6 players.

Starting cards

5 private cards. 2-6 players.

How to play

  1. Preflop betting, then deal the flop.
  2. Flop betting, then the DRAW PHASE.
  3. Discard 0, 1, or 2 cards (maximum 2) and receive replacements. Choosing 0 means standing pat.
  4. Deal the turn, then turn betting.
  5. Deal the river, then river betting and showdown.

Showdown / pot distribution

50% of each eligible pot goes to Five-Card Draw HIGH: use your final five hole cards ONLY, with normal high-hand rankings.

50% goes to Omaha: use EXACTLY 2 hole cards + EXACTLY 3 board cards. Win one half or scoop both.

The SophiesPick structure

Home games play Dramaha in several forms. On SophiesPick it is Pot-Limit, with one draw of up to two cards after flop betting, and both halves of the pot are high hands.
